Hasan joined Chi Lab in 2026. He is a fourth-year Physics student at the University of Ottawa. Hasan completed his UROP in 2023 as a part of the Computational Nanophotonics Lab with Lora Ramunno. Later that year, he completed his NSERC USRA at the uOttawa Geophysics Lab with Pascal Audet. After focusing on his studies and Co-op work, Hasan is now eager to begin research in quantum materials for his Honours project. He is especially interested in experimental physics, particularly where fundamental research connects with emerging technologies. Hasan hopes to contribute to research that advances the discovery and understanding of new quantum materials. Outside the lab, he enjoys aviation, staying active, and exploring new technology.
